“Just Me, Freelance & Chaotic”
By Samuel

Just to be clear:

I don’t think of myself as an “author.”
Too random. Too unpredictable. Too chaotic for that label.

I just want to write—freelance, on my own terms. Thoughts, rants, stories… whatever I feel in the moment. No schedules. No limits. Just me.

Think James Lee from the manhwa Lookism—not the main guy, but the kind of supporting character who still feels perfect. Not flawless, but sharp. That’s the energy I want for my writing: skill, insight, humor, chaos… without screaming for attention.

And then there’s Fang Yuan, from the light novel Reverend Insanity. I don’t support his ruthless ideals, but his words hit different:

“Hardships will strengthen my resolve.
Today I step on grass, later I shall step on mountains and rivers.
From today, I will walk on the path of supremacy (in terms of freelance writing).
Sweep the earth and laugh at the world,
tread the green mountains, step on the blue sea (I ain’t Jesus ),
bind the blue dragons, assault the sky,
bathe in difficulties and sharpen my soul,
lift the flag and sing in triumph,
defy heaven, defy fate, defy the universe.”

And that last part? That was Fang Yuan, not me. Who am I to defy the heavens?

Anyways,For me, it’s not about supremacy in power, but in freelance writing—where my only rival is me.

Also, this whole website? Just my side quests or side projects, whichever one you prefer. Just think of it as my digital library. And I believe if it provides enough value, they should at least be able to fund my McChicken burgers and Fanta addiction 🍔🥤—plus the random stuff we teens buy just because.

I’m only 18—and whether or not I become a great freelance writer, I guess only time will tell.

Just Samuel. Freelance. Chaotic. True.

No one’s probably reading this anyway’s 🤷‍♂️.
