📖 Welcome to The Ascension of the Lightborn 🌌
So you made it here.
Here’s the catch though: this book is on a timer. ⏳
📖 NOTICE: Ascension of the Lightborn
This one isn’t here yet.
Right now, Ascension of the Lightborn is enrolled in an exclusivity program somewhere else. That means I can’t put it up here for free until the term runs out.
The exclusivity ends in a while. When it does, I’ll drop the full volume zero here — free, and as a PDF. no strings attached.
Check back soon. When the clock runs out, it’ll be here.

📖 The Ascension Returns. 🌌
I said it before — after 90 days, it comes home.
The term’s over. The timer’s done.
And now Ascension of the Lightborn is back where it belongs.
Prologue and 5 full chapters — here, and only here.
No sign-ups, no paywalls, no “exclusive platforms.” Just the story.
⚠️ NOTICE:
This PDF version isn’t updated.
It’s the same one I released the first time — untouched since that day.
So yeah, some parts might feel off or unnecessary. Leave them be.
They belong to the version of me who wrote it then.
It was gone for a while. Now it’s mine again — and yours to read.

Ascension of the Lightborn: Volume Zero
In the beginning, there was the World Tree, formed from the very essence of nothingness. From it bloomed nine divine spheres(also known as universes), and from within each arose a being of absolute authority—the Nine Originals.
Among them was the Lightborn—a divine architect who defied cosmic law by granting free will to his creation. For that, he was betrayed by his own kind… and slain in defiance.
After the war among the Originals, those who remained made a sacred pact: to never again interfere in the world of their fallen kin. And so, the Lightborn’s world was left leaderless.
In that silence, the greed of the lesser gods—who had emerged long after the Originals from the thousand lesser worlds beneath the Tree—began to stir. Though powerful in their own right, they were never equal to the Nine. And in the absence of divine rule, they sought not to preserve the Lightborn’s creation… but to claim it.
Against the chaos they unleashed stood the Demi-Gods—the Lightborn’s loyal guardians, each soul-bound to his final will. Among them, one rose above all others—shattering worlds in defense of what remained. And in the shadow of that final war, she broke the one law that could never be broken: She loved.
From that love came Kael—half mortal, half divine, cradled in the final breath of the Lightborn’s will. Sent to a lower world its inhabitants called Earth—far more advanced with tech, unified under a global federation, governed through democracy, and transformed by the appearance of mana 1,700 years ago—Kael arrives in a pod that dissolves upon reaching its destination. He is accompanied by two soul-bound attendants, willed into being—not born—watched by no gods and protected only by those bound to his origin.
Inside him lies a legacy of cosmic power: the Divinity Engine, a sentient system designed to adapt, evolve, and awaken at the edge of annihilation.
But the gods still watch.
And the Void still stirs.
Survive. Hide. Awaken.
The System will remember what Kael cannot.
